Sorachi Wine Station is located in Sorachi, a subprefecture of Hokkaido located at the center of the island in one of the heaviest, if not the heaviest, snowfall areas.
Surrounded by rich nature, this is a truly Hokkaido-like area.
An important point for traffic, with the main road and railroad that connect Sapporo city and Asahikawa city going through it, the area flourished in the past thanks to the transportation of natural resources such as coal.
Agriculture is blessed by the climate and this vast land too, and plays an important role in the food supply to the high consumption area of Sapporo and its surroundings.
The aim of Sorachi Wine Station is to spread the excellent wine grown at this naturally and geographically blessed area, along with its wine culture.
